RANDOLPH CO. FAIR SCHOLARSHIP

The Randolph County Fair Scolarship is made possible by the Scolarship Auction, held each year during the Fair. The items acutioned are generously donated by local businesses and individuals, for which we are truly greatful.

Applicants must be graduating seniors in Randolph County planning to enroll in an institute of higher education (community college, university, technical or trade college) this fall, and attend a minimum two-year course of study. This scholarship is given with the stipulation that it will be re-paid if you do not finish the two years of study. The scholarship will be dispersed to the school you will be attending, upon their request, advising us that you have enrolled. You must attend at least 60 days and maintain minimum GPA of 2.5.

The Fair Board will evaluate applicants based on participation in the County, district and state fairs; their leadership skills and community involvement, along with GPA and ACT/SAT scores. The scolarship(s) will be awarded in amounts up to $1,000 at the sole descretion of the Randolph County Fair Board.

The deadline for returning the applications will be Feb. 20, 2012. High scoring winners will be encouraged to apply to the Ark. Fair Managers Association, where a total of six additional scholarships are available.

The application form is available online. You must have the free Adobe Reader in order to fill out and print this form. You may also save this form, along with the information you have entered, to your computer. Get the form HERE!
