The Randolph County Fair Association welcome contestants from Randolph County to compete for the title of Miss Randolph County Fair Rodeo Queen, Jr. Queen, Princess, Sweetheart, and Little Miss. Judging is based on Appearance, Personality, and Horsemanship. This fun and entertaining one day event brings beauty and charm to the Fair, and is one of the highlights of the County Fair Rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights. There will be two(2) MANDATORY practices for all divisions. Thursday, August 18 th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 28 at 7:30p.m. Two of the judges will be present Sunday to help with the patterns.
DIVISIONS:
Ages 2-4 Little Miss $10.00
Ages 5-7 Sweetheart (must ride horse) $15.00
Ages 8-11 Rodeo Princess (must ride horse) $18.00
Ages 12-15 Rodeo Jr. Queen (must ride horse) $20.00
Ages 16-24 Rodeo Queen (must ride horse) $25.00
QUALIFICATIONS AND RULES FOR QUEEN
1. Contestants must not be less than 16 or more than 24 years of age as of September 1 of the current year. The Contestant must never have been convicted of any crime or have any criminal charges pending.
2. The contestant must be single; never been married, pregnant and/or had a child.
3. The contestant must be a female legal resident of Randolph County for at least the last 6 months prior to the date of the pageant..
4. The contestant may be amateur or professional.
6. NO STALLIONS ARE PERMITTED. No tie-downs are allowed in horsemanship competition.
7. Entry constitutes agreement to release Randolph County Fairgrounds from all liability.
CHAPERONES
Contestant must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or female chaperone appointed by parent/guardian. The chaperone must be present at registration and remain with the contestant throughout the contest. The Contestant and one (1) chaperone will get in gate FREE
All others must pay at the gate. Adults $5.00 Children Under 12 $3.00
HORSES
Arkansas horses must be accompanied by the original report of negative EIA test within 12 months prior to exhibition. Horses from out of state require the original report of negative EIA test within 12 months AND original health certificate issued within 30 days prior to exhibition. Health Certificate must include individual identification and temperature reading of animal. Photocopies are not acceptable.
DRESS REQUIREMENTS:
Each contestant should come prepared with enough WESTERN ATTIRE for the interview session, and or modeling session. During Horsemanship Competition, contestants should wear blue jeans and long sleeved white western shirts. Hats are required during all phases of the competition, including the interview. Chaps are not allowed.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Two photographs must be attached to the entry form: 4” x 6” of the head and shoulders (these photos are not used for judging purposes - snapshots are acceptable). Contestants should be dressed in western attire including hat.
On the back of the photographs, please print the date, contestant name and address.

JUDGING
Randolph County Fair Association will appoint 3 judges for Appearance and Personality and Horsemanship. These Judges will be persons well qualified to judge a contest of this kind. Manners, behavior and grooming will be observed at all times from registration to the crowning ceremony. Their decision is final.
Poor sportsmanship , tardiness, interference or otherwise inappropriate conduct will affect your score. Rule violations could result in disqualification, from this and future contests. Score sheets will only be viewed by the contestant herself and a judge as a witness.
