2011 PARADE INFORMATION
Come Join the Fun!
Our parade will begin downtown Pocahontas on Tuesday August 30th at 6 p.m., leaving the Courthouse and taking its usual trip, ending at the fairgrounds. The line-up will begin at 5 p.m. You may pre-register by filling out and printing the form on line by clicking >HERE<. Then bring the completed form to either the Fairgrounds Office on Monday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. or Tuesday 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., or the Mayor's office Monday or Tuesday before 5:00 p.m. the week of the Fair, and you will be given a number for the parade.
While registration is free, you must register to be considered for the judging. The number you will be given is to be displayed in a certain designated area and will not be judged if not in the appropriate area.We remind every one to refrain from throwing candy,
for the safety of the children attending the parade.
