EXHIBITORS’ RULES
All exhibitors must FIRST obtain a master number for registering their exhibits in ALL divisions throughout the fair. This number may be obtained from the registrars located at the Fair Office Ticket Window.
EXHIBITORS MUST BE RESIDENTS OF RANDOLPH COUNTY and MUST NOT HAVE EXHIBITED IN ANY OTHER COUNTY FAIR THIS YEAR
The top three (3) point winners in the youth division will be able to sell one (1) of their Blue Ribbons at the Blue Ribbon Sale on Saturday. They will be able to keep all of the money bid on their ribbon. |

Adult exhibits in Art, Clothing, Food Preservation, Garden & Orchard, Household Arts, Christmas Crafts, Photography, Crafts & Hobbies, Needlework and Metal/Scrap Art, must be checked in Tuesday, August 30th, between 10 a.m. & 6 p.m. Special Concession for people who have to work on Wednesday morning: Baked Goods and Flowers may be entered from 4 - 6 p.m. on Tuesday night. |

Youth exhibits in Art, Clothing, Food Preservation (Jam & Jellies ONLY, 12 and up), Garden & Orchard, Household Arts, Christmas Crafts, Needlework, Metal/Scrap Art, Photography, Flowers, Crafts & Hobbies, Baked Goods and Field Crops must be checked in Tuesday, August 30th, between 11 a.m. & 8 p.m. Youth are required to check in their own items. Their parents or anyone other than themselves cannot check in these items. |

All Baked Goods, Cut Flowers and Field Crops must be checked in on Wednesday, August 31st, between 8 & 10 a.m. (Limitations on size & weight are stated in the book and MUST be followed). After judging is complete and the building is open to the public, baked foods, with the exception of decorated cakes, may be picked up, leaving a sample for display. Multiple family members may not exhibit items from the same batch. Example; 1 batch of chocolate chip cookies and mother, father, 4 children all enter cookies from the same batch. This will not be accepted. |

All exhibits must remain in place until check-out time on Sunday, Sept. 4th, between 2 & 4 p.m. Any item not collected at this time will be taken to the Cooperative Extension Office. |

Prize money should be picked up at check-out time on Sunday, Sept. 4th. (If available) |

Exhibitors may enter only one item per classification. Each entry must have been completed since the last fair, be made by the exhibitor, and be clean & in good condition, or they will not be judged. |

All classes in the Home Economics Division will be judged on a rating system. “A” rating will receive a Blue Ribbon, “B” rating will receive a Red ribbon, and “C” rating will receive a White Ribbon. The number of points each will receive is listed in the various departments in the catalogue. The value of each point will be determined by the amount of premium money available. |

All divisions in each department will have Grand Champion & Reserve Champion selected at the judge’s discretion. |

During exhibit judging on Wednesday, the June Simington Building will be closed to the Public. It will re-open to the public AFTER judging is over. |
